When I Google the problem I find virtually no reports of this kind of problem and even the Amazon customer reviews show nobody experiencing it. I also know that I have the latest firmware for the device. What's even more confusing is that when I bring up the "Sound" window from Windows Control Panel it shows that WIDI is the default sound playback device and the VU meter shows audio pumping through, but no sound gets to the TV. I've tried all manner of reinstallation of drivers, updating drivers from Intel, going back to Sony drivers and I find that each time I get the audio working the first time after changing drivers but then it goes away again and never comes back unless I re-do the drivers again. Well everything about this setup worked great the first time I set it up, but every time thereafter the WIDI transferred the screen image perfectly but with no audio. Netgear has recently launched a new product, the NeoTV200s : Netgear NTV200S NeoTV Pro Streaming Player: Electronics that has the same functionality as the Push2TV box but it is also a pretty extensive commercial video streamer (Netflix, VuDu, 15 more) and it costs less - $69 at Amazon! I never bothered to try WIDI on my Z22 until last week.
